Fantastic Herons with the Nikkor 300mm f/4 AF-S lens
Posted by David Chin on May 19th, 2006 in Amazing Nikon D200 Image SamplesSteve’s photography skills are evident in this series featuring the Yellow-Crowned Night Heron.

What’s particularly impressive is the sharpness of the shots, some taken at 1/200 sec shutter speed, with obvious help from the use of a monopod. My favourite of the series is the one capturing a heron in the act of swallowing a turtle - nice!
